Hello 2016!!!

I can not believe that 2015 has come to an end and 2016 is here. This is going to be a huge year of change for me at least that's my goal. I decided to link up with Jayme from Teach.Talk.Inspire and Diana from My Day in K to share my New Year's Resolutions.

Here are my resolutions:

1. Save money: I feel that everyone has this on their resolution list. However, I have been doing my research and have found various ways to incorporate this into my life. One was is to save $1 for the first week then keep adding a $1 to it every week. I have decided to try this plan and see how well it works. :-)

2. Make progress on our house: For those of you who don't know. My husband and I are trying to build a house. I didn't realize when we started this journey that it would take so long to actually get started. This year we hope to get the well and septic done. Then, hopefully get moving on the actually building process.

3. Exercise more: I started out doing great with my 21 Day Fix Extreme. Then, the holidays hit and I have been relaxing way too much. Now it's time to get back into exercising and so far it is killing me. I did leg day on Thursday and have not been able to bend my legs much since. :-) My husband keeps telling me, No pain No gain. He's such a sweetie....NOT.

4. Pay off debt: Again I feel like this is on everyone's list. One word: SCHOOL LOANS. However, I feel that this year will be the Moore year. At least I hope so. I have been doing my homework again on managing debt and I feel that I have a good handle on it.

5. Become a better wife/friend: I feel that personally I have been lacking in this area. Especially when I get preoccupied with school work. This year, I am going to work harder at making time for my husband, family, and friends. So, if you're my friend and you tell me let's get together, you better be ready. :-)

6. Enjoy the little things: I feel that during the school year, I really don't take the time for myself or the important people in my life. The last few years I have been teaching, I feel like that is all I did. This year, I plan to make time to enjoy just the little things that life has to offer.

Well, I hope you enjoyed my New Year's Resolutions and I can't wait to read yours! If you would like to link up to this Blog Post feel free to head over to Diana's or Jayme's websites to get started.

Much love,

  1. Great resolutions. I have many of the same ones. I too am getting back into my exercise routine and I am concentrating on more purposeful time with my hubby and family. Wishing you a wonderful 2016!
